Precautions for led light strip cover plastic before mold test
1.Understand the relevant data of lampshade mold: get the design surface of lampshade mold, conduct detailed analysis, and invite mold technicians to participate in mold trial production.
2. First, check the mechanical movement on the workbench: pay attention to whether the mold has scratches, missing and looseness, whether the mold movement on the sliding plate is real, and whether the water channel and gas pipe joints are leaking. If the mold movement is restricted, it should also be marked on the mold. If the above actions can be completed before hanging the mold, it can avoid problems in hanging the mold, and then take out the mold to waste time.
3. When determining the correct action of each part of the mold, select a suitable ejector, and pay attention to (a) injection capacity, (b) width of the guide rod, (c) large stroke, (d) complete accessories. Once everything is confirmed, the next step is to hang the mold. When hanging the mold, before locking the mold and opening the mold, be careful not to remove all the lock templates to prevent the lock templates from loosening or disconnecting and the mold from falling off.
After the mold is installed, carefully check whether the mechanical actions of mold parts, such as slider, thimble, rear tooth structure, limit switch, are correct. See if the nozzle is aligned with the feed port. The next step is to pay attention to the clamping action. At this time, reduce the pressure, pay attention to the manual and low-speed clamping action, and pay attention to observe and listen for any stable movement and abnormal sound.
4. Increase the mold temperature: select the appropriate mold temperature controller according to the performance of mold raw materials and mold size, and the mold temperature should reach the required temperature. When the isothermal temperature rises, the action of the parts must be rechecked. Because the steel may be stuck after thermal expansion, care must be taken to avoid sliding of the parts to avoid strain and vibration.
5. In the absence of in plant test protocol rules, it is recommended to adjust only one condition at a time to distinguish the impact of single condition change on finished products.
6. Depending on the ingredients, these ingredients are used for moderate baking. Kill. Try to use the same materials for mass production.
7. Do not try to completely iron with secondary materials. If there is a color requirement, you can also arrange a color test.

Q: Will the cover yellow or discolor over time? What is the expected lifespan?
A: With premium PC and proper UV stabilizers, our covers remain clear for 5–8 years indoors and longer with our enhanced UV-coated options (10+ years even outdoors). Yellowing typically only occurs with low-quality raw materials or extreme heat-we strictly control our suppliers to prevent this.
Q: How do I cut and install the diffuser cover?
A: Cutting is easy: use a fine-tooth handsaw or power saw with a fine blade for clean edges. For installation, simply snap or slide the cover into a matching aluminum U-channel (we can supply these too). PC has good flexibility for slight curves; for larger bends, let us know so we can produce a custom flexible version.
