Cutting and Preparation

Tools Required:

  • Fine-tooth hacksaw, miter saw, or circular saw with plastic-cutting blade
  • Deburring tool or fine-grit sandpaper (220-400 grit)
  • Measuring tape and marking tool

Cutting Best Practices:

  1. Mark cutting line clearly on the profile exterior
  2. Support the profile firmly to prevent vibration during cutting
  3. Use slow, steady strokes-avoid excessive pressure that generates heat
